Welcome to our next episode of " What do we know for sure " ? This is a monthly update of finalized information about our gathering in London, Ontario May 18 - 20 / '12.
1) Registrations now total 72. This includes Senators from Australia, Germany and England as well as several Americans. The cost is now up to a still - affordable $155.00 per person for a full registration.
2) London, Ontario is officially the home of the " Best Ball Park " in Canada. Labatts Park is Canada's oldest ball park and has been voted most favourite park in a cross - Canada survey. It happens to be just 15 minutes from the Hilton London and some of you may be able to see it from your hotel room if you do not want to venture out.
3) The Friday Night at the Top of the Fair is filling up fast. This is the same night as one of the richest purses up for grabs at the race track for the whole season. You need to register A.S.A.P. in order to take advantage of this deal. I will have more info next month on this event. Be assured that there will be plenty of other restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel as well.
4) The Double-Decker Tour Bus is limited to 60 passengers. This is a two hour ride and is very popular with visitors. The City of London is putting the bus on the road earlier than usual to accomodate our Convention needs. Please register A.S.A.P. as well.
This bus is typical " Old london " and does not have heat or air conditioning. Given our London's unpredictable weather at this time of year, I would err on the side of it being coolish - you can always de-robe if necessary.

Washington State JCI Senate
Several Senators of the Washington State JCI Senate have begun writing a detailed and comprehensive plan to create a new Jaycee Chapter in Washington.
Led by Chairman - Senator Hal Dimond #11149, along with Senator Emerson Bishop #7021, Senator Jim McDonald #16113, Senator Ed Barnes #23339, Senator Angie Struttmann #64531, and Senator Buffalo Bob McLean #46170. Other noted Senators include - Senator Harold Booker #10346 and Senator Jim Aprill #16211.
...The Extension committee will implement the plan in the next 12 months. It is important to look at and plan every aspect and possibility to bring this to success. We do not take this project lightly nor do we intend to fail.
The plan will include a 12 to 24 month mentorship program and continued support for not only the new chapter, but the surrounding Jaycee chapters as well.
Another goal is to write a plan that can be modified and used anywhere to repeat the process and revitalize the Jaycee organization we have known and love.
